Refund & Return Policy

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Dance Fashions Warehouse, our policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fairness and clarity for both parties. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms below.

Exchanges (How Size Changes Are Handled)

We do not process direct exchanges.

If an item does not fit or you wish to change sizes or styles:

  • Please place a new order for the correct item.

  • Return the original item following the instructions below.

  • Once the return is received and approved, a refund will be issued for the returned merchandise.

This process ensures faster fulfillment and accurate inventory availability.

Return Shipping Responsibility

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless:

  • The item is defective, or

  • An error was made by Dance Fashions Warehouse (wrong item shipped)

In such cases, return shipping will be covered by us.

Return Labels

If a return label is issued, it will be sent via Stamps.com.

⚠️ Important:
Return label links and QR codes expire after 24 hours. It is the customer’s responsibility to download or use the label before expiration.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a refund, all returned items must:

  • Be initiated within 30 days of the purchase date

  • Be unworn, unwashed, clean, and resellable

  • Be returned in original packaging with all tags attached

  • Include a copy of the invoice or order confirmation

  • Include a note stating the return is for refund

Failure to meet these requirements may result in denial of the return.

Ineligible Returns

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Merchandise worn, altered, or damaged

  • Items with makeup, deodorant, lotion, fragrance, oil, stains, or odors

  • Tights (for health and hygiene reasons)

  • Special orders and clearance items (final sale)

Items returned in unacceptable condition will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued for merchandise only

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable

  • Orders that originally shipped free of shipping will incur a 10% restocking fee

  • Returns received after 30 days are not eligible for refund

    • A store credit may be requested and is subject to management approval

  • All items must be approved upon inspection before any refund is issued

Chargeback & Dispute Protection Notice

By placing an order, the customer agrees that:

  • Fit, sizing, and personal preference issues do not constitute defective or misrepresented merchandise

  • Failure to follow the return policy does not qualify for a refund

  • Chargebacks filed in violation of this policy may be disputed with documentation, including order confirmation, delivery confirmation, and this posted return policy

How to Return Merchandise

Returns must be shipped using a trackable carrier, such as:

  • USPS (with delivery confirmation)

  • FedEx

  • UPS

Dance Fashions Warehouse is not responsible for lost, delayed, or untracked return shipments.
